Bird McCargar's work is a mingling of abstract and representational with an obvious interest in color. Layers are built on panels of acrylic and medium to create semi transparencies. Buildings and environmental surroundings in the urban landscape are her current obsession. She has likened her images to archeological reproductions of the interior states of her mind. She also has come to love sharing peoples love for their animal companions, and to add her style to rendering their images for their humans. She holds a BFA, and an MA.
