Chicago-born and Oakland-based painter and collage artist Nancy Fasciani was trained at the Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles (B.F.A., 1984) and pursued graduate studies in painting at Hunter College in New York City, New York (1984-85). She established residency on the West Coast in 1991, after returning from study and exhibitions of her work in Seattle, Washington, New York City, and Los Angeles, CA.
